Woman’s Life Cut Short In Kagadi, Body Found Dumped Near Neighbor’s House

KAGADI

Residents of Kyakabugahya B trading Centre in Kagadi Town council Kagadi district have been shocked to find a bod of one of their residents dumped in a banana plantation near a few meters from a neighbor’s home.

The deceased has been identified as Tereza Banura 40 years who has been dealing in selling tomatoes in this trading Centre and has been wife to Patrick Akugizibwe resident of Kyakabugahya A in Kagadi Town council.

John Kisembo chairman LCI Kyakabugahya B said that he was called by one Kiiza Kezia after she found the body lying lifeless in her garden when she had gone to look for what to prepare for her supper.

Residents however said that the deceased together with her husband have been serial drunkards in the village ad what they have been getting from the small business; they have been taking it to the bars for alcohol.

Patrick Kyaligonza the husband to the deceased said that his wife has been missing for three days but he thought that the woman had gone to her mother’s place that he didn’t want to disclose.

“I last saw my wife on Wednesday and I have been living with our one child thinking that maybe she had gone to her parents’ home” John added.

Kagadi Police rushed to the scene and took the body to Kagadi Hospital Mortuary pending postmortem and it has not been in position to speak to the media at that the time this incident happened.

Tereza has left one child.
