Kagadi Woman Sets Family House on Fire, Accusing Husband of Infidelity

KAGADI
A woman in Kagadi district has torched a family house accusing his husband of infidelity.
The suspect, Katusabe Alinaitwe Nyangoma is a resident of Kitoro cell, Kagadi town council Kagadi district.
Christopher Kabagambe, the LC1 Chairperson for Kitoro cell says that Katusabe had a heated argument with her husband Vincent Abigaba, last evening.
Katusabe accused her husband of marrying a second wife.
Kabagamba revealed that the suspect is on the run.
Vincent Abigaba states that his wife Katusabe became furious and torched their permanent house where, household items such as mattresses, plates, and clothes worth 500,000 shillings were completely destroyed in the fire.
He says Katusabe is alleged to have connived with her relatives to burn their family house.
Abigaba wants Katusabe and her relatives to reconstruct his house.
Residents have cautioned married couples against resorting to domestic violence and urged them to report their conflicts to local leaders or the police for assistance.
