Vice President Alupo meets Pope Francis in South Sudan
The Vice President Major Jessica Alupo Epel has joined other African Leaders to meets His Holiness Pope Francis who is on a visit in South Sudan.
Uganda’s representation in Southern Sudan is part of a sustained efforts in finding last solutions through peace processes in South Sudan where she represented President Yoweri Museveni.
The meeting that took place at State House Juba was attended by all the 5 Vice Presidents of South Sudan, the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Moderator General of the Church of Scotland and the Moderator General of the Council of the Presbyterian Church of America.
The meeting was also attended by several Cardinals and Bishops and President Salvar Kiir of South Sudan.
