Vibrant RDC Ruteraho returns to serve in Kagadi district

Lillian Ruteraho has today (27.07.2023) returned to Kagadi and assumed office as the Resident District Commissioner following the recent transfers of the Resident District Commissioners (RDCs) and Resident City Commissioners (RCCs) by the Office of the president secretariat.

Ruteraho who once served as the Kagadi Resident District Commissioner for close to four years before she was appointed RDC for Rubanda district, and later transferred to Kitagwenda in the same capacity now replaces Nicholas Kamukama Keine whose next destination is yet to be known.

She was received by the Benjamin Tumusiime who will deputize her as the outgoing Nicholas Kamukama Keine was attending a workshop in Hoima.

Briefing the media at her office at the Kagadi district headquarters, the vocal RDC has promised to begin from the work of her predecessor especially implementing the Parish Development Modal program and promised to offer diligent services to the people.

Rutaraho has promised to work together with the district leaders for better service delivery.

She has asked residents to use the office of the RDC to get services asserting that its doors are open for all.

The deputy RDC Benjamin Tumusiime welcomed Ms Ruteraho back into the district and assured her maximum cooperation in delivering services to the people of Kagadi.

He says together with the new RDC, they will ensure implementation of government programs like, land issues, enforcing presidential directives on wetland protection and PDM that is meant to alleviate poverty from the households.
