Security guard takes off with Petro station money, ignores gun on scene
ThePolice in Rubaare have launched a hunt of a security guard who took off with Petrol Station money.
The Officer- In- charge of Rubaare police station ASP Ilim Muzoora identified the suspect as Eliab 27, who was the security guard at M&N petrol station located in Kagango ward, Rubaare town council and was deployed by World guard Security Company.
According to ASP Muzoora, the Suspect at around 2:15am put the pump attendant Kasiita Frank 26 on a gun point to surrender to him all the money he had, failure of which he would be shot dead. Kasiita with all fears developed surrendered all the unspecified amount of money to Eliab who took off to an unknown destination.
It’s alleged that the suspect who had spent two weeks at this workplace left the rifle SMG behind at the scene and only took off with the money.
ASP Muzoora appealed to all company owners to always capture the data identities of the people and the company before employing security personnel to avoid dealing with fake companies.
He added that if the data is captured, the Police would find it easy to trace for the suspects once called to intervene.
Muzoora urged local council leaders and Local defense units to be vigilant on new entrants in the area as well as registering new people operating within their village for security reasons.
The Police are requesting all well-wishers that whoever comes across to inform the nearest police station or any securities agencies to cause his arrest and be prosecuted.
