Rwandan National Arrested for dumping own child in Kagadi

KAGADI

Kagadi Police has arrested a Rwandan Female National who two months back dumped a 3 weeks old baby at a place commonly Known as Forest in Mambugu Cell along Kagadi –Isunga Road in Kagadi town council Kagadi district.

The development has been confirmed by the Kagadi District Acting Police Commander ASP Kenneth Bakashaba while speaking to Journalists in his office on Wednesday.

According to Bakashaba, Ms. Sharon Kusemererwa aged 23 a Rwandan by Nationality after thorough police investigations was last evening arrested from Kyangwali sub-county in Kikuube district and was found married to another husband.

Upon arrest and interrogation by police detectives, Kusemererwa revealed that she dumped her three weeks baby after his husband divorced her.

This website has also learnt that by the time of the act, Kusemererwa had other two old children whom she had migrated with from Rwanda to Uganda and she has been staying with them in Kyangwali.

Bakashaba said Kusemererwa has been arrested together with another lady whose identities are withheld for further investigations and all have been charged with Child desertion.

The baby is apparently being cared for at Bless the Children Ministries a baby’s Home in Mabaale Kagadi District.
