Angry residents from Rwenswa village in Kisiita town council Kakumiro District today morning gathered at the office of Kisiita town clerk seeking permission to censor their chairperson lc1 on grounds of incompetency.
In a letter addressed to the office of the town clerk, residents accuse their chairperson LCI John Kahinda of a number of reasons among which include negligence of office property, failure to form executive committee, failure to address people’s problems, drunkenness, family negligence among others.
These and others forced residents to run to the office of the town clerk to seek advice on which step should be taken to stabilize their village.

Meanwhile, Tadeo Busingye Buretwenda the town clerk of the Kisiita town council asked the residents to seek advice before they impeach the chairman.
He told the residents to take their complaints to the office of the speaker who is responsible as the law says.
According to the Local government Act 243, section 14 (1) the chairperson may be removed from office by the council by a resolution supported by two-thirds of all members of the council on any the following, abuse of the office, corruption, incompetence among others,
