Residents decry drug stock out at Kyebando Health Centre III, Insecurity

Residents from Kiyanja Parish in Kyebando Sub County Kibaale district have expressed concern over persistent drug stock out at Kyebando Health Centre III in Kibaale District.
They expressed the concerns while in a community policing meeting that was chaired by LC3 Chairperson Kyebando Sub County together with other Kibaale Local Government Officials that was held at Kiyanja trading center on Thursday.
Among other concerns bothering them is the rampant insecurity that they attribute to bars that remain open trans-night, poor road network to access local markets because their Bridge of Nguse that connects Kiyanja and Igayaaza town along Mukikoona- Kiyanja- Igayaaza road is dilapidated.
Responding to their concerns, Godwin Angalia Kasigwa the Resident District Commissioner of Kibaale together with Didas Arukwera the area LC3 Chairperson assured the residents that area MPs led by Dr. Emely Kugonza have concerted efforts and soon the bridge will be work upon.
They have also allayed fears out of the residents that Kibaale Health Department has already received a consignment of drugs ready to be disbursed to other health facilities across the district.
On security matters, Moses Kitamirike, the Kibaale District Police Commander advised the public to revise their personal security and their property as the police strategizes to curb criminality.
