Residents of Buhumuriro Sub County in Buyaga West Kagadi district on Monday received Agro-inputs to support them for this season from the Raising the Village, a non-governmental organization working focused on partnering with last-mile, rural communities in Uganda to develop initiatives that pave the pathway out of ultra-poverty towards economic self-sufficiency.

Raising the Village also believes that everyone deserves an opportunity to make choices and have a real chance at life.

Farmers have been asked to embrace the activities of raising the village, and other government programs if they are to reduce poverty in their homes
