The Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Nabbanja Robinah has asked local leaders to be patriotic and visionary to transform their areas.

Nabbanja made the call while meeting leaders from the sub counties of Mwitanzige, Kitaihuka, Birembo and Igayaza town council at her country home in Kakumiro district.

Fred Byamukama, the state minister for transport who is also the Bugangaizi west MP, asked the people of Kakumiro to continue supporting the NRM government and president Yoweri Museveni for continuity of development.

The premier briefed the leaders that she has been conducting such meetings for quite many years to assess the delivery of government services and also plan better.

Aisa Agaba Black, the Bugangaizi East member of parliament decried shoddy works especially in roads and asked those responsible to work on the spotted gaps.

Nabbanja warned leaders against engaging in early campaigns saying that it’s time to serve the electorate and wait for the rightful time.

The prime minister has so far met leaders from 15 sub counties with an objective of assessing the status of service delivery for improvement.
