The Prime Minister of Uganda Rt. Hon. Nabbanja Robinah has represented H.E President Yoweri Museveni at the 19th graduation ceremony of Gulu University in Gulu City.
On arrival, Nabbanja was received by the Education State Minister Dr. Morris Kaduchu, MPs and members of the University Council.
The graduation ceremony to confer diplomas and degrees to over 1300 graduands in different disciplines was led by the University Chancellor Rt. Hon Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda.
The President urged Graduands to embrace the call for patriotism, be active participants in the fight against corruption and avoid the temptation of getting rich quickly.
He encouraged then to utilize the available opportunities and use the skills acquired to cause transformation.
Gulu University was established by act of the Parliament of 2006. It admitted its first students and commenced teaching activities in September 2002.
The public University aims at producing citizens with skills, attitude and knowledge.
