Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Nabbanja Robinah has today (Tuesday) met with H.E. Jamal Mohammad Hassan Al-Madani, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Uganda
The meeting took place at the Office of the Prime Minister in Kampala.
The Premier said Uganda values the bilateral and diplomatic relations between the two countries.
“Am happy that Over the years, we have witnessed the improvement of these relations through bilateral agreements that have unlocked many development opportunities for two countries” Nabbanja Added.
The two agreed to further deepen the cooperation in various fields.
Diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and
Uganda began in the 1970s following the historical visit of King Faisal bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud to Uganda.
But contact between the two countries dates back to the 17th century following the coming of Arab traders.
