Museveni to address the nation on the status of COVID 19 today, Ugandans predict total lockdown

KAMPALA

President Yoweri Museveni Kaguta is set to address the nation today (Friday) June 18th 2021 to brief Ugandans about the current COVID-19 situation. 

The development has been confirmed by Nabusayi Lindah Wamboka the presidential press secretary on her official Twitter account.

President Museveni returns to talk to Ugandans after his 6th June address that imposed 42 days of partial lockdown to the country as a means of curtailing the current spread of Covid19.

His address also comes at a time when Uganda has registered 67, 215 Cumulative confirmed cases with 524 deaths registered since the scourge broke out in March 2020.
