The mosque was officially handed over to the Muslim clergy on Thursday at a joyful event where two cows were slaughtered to celebrate the achievement.
Initially, the old mosque had been constructed using mud and reeds and when Hon. Sebamala found a faith filled community and decided to lobby funds from friends to construct the new structure.
“When I found such a faith filled community, I couldn’t hesitate but to pledge. We therefore thank Allah for blessing us and the Turkish Islamic community for trusting us with the funds to completion.,” Eng. Sebamala said.
Immediately after swearing in as MP for Bukoto Central constituency, Eng. Sebamala boarded a plane to Europe and Asia to Lobby for his constituency and among the friends he met was the Turkish Muslim community who pledged to support the Constituency with several projects which among others include erecting mosques at various villages.

Bukoto central constituents and Ugandans have joyfully thanked Hon. Sebamala for his faithfulness and actions which have so far spoken volumes and defined the true character of a leader.
“The most important act is that you started with a religion you don’t belong to, May God Almighty reward you abundantly.” Mr. Ken Mutenyo a Democratic Party stalwart and National Executive Committee member said.
Hon. Sebamala has not only supported the Moslem community to construct mosques but also other religious denominations where he has always contributed millions of shillings to support their activities for example the construction of Kkindu catholic church where he contributed 15 million recently plus almost all parishes and sub parishes in the constituency not forgetting the church of Uganda.
