The Buyaga East MP Eric Musana has cautioned Christians to always avoid sectarian tendencies for the continuous development of their areas.
The legislator made the call today afternoon officiating at the fundraising function held at Kyakatebe Catholic Church in Kiryanga Sub-County Kagadi district.
The fundraising drive had been organized to solicit funds for the construction of St. Edward’s Kyakatebe Catholic church.
Musana said at the time he came into politics, the district had been torn apart by religious and tribal conflicts, which he has succeeded to address through his visionary leadership of unity and service delivery.
Referring to President Museveni’s message of unity, Musana said for a society to develop, it requires a diverse of ethnic group who bring in new ideas for economic growth, asserting that development does not segregate in tribes, religion and age.
Musana also warned farmers against selling maize from the gardens if they are to gain profits from their harvested crops.
Commenting on the low maize prices, Musana attributed falling prices to surplus production during harvesting period asking farmers to remain patient as they wait for prices to rise.
Musana supported the fundraising drive with One million, Five hundred forty thousand shillings (Ugx1, 540,000) cash.
Rev. Fr. Vincent Akugizibwe thanked Hon Musana for honoring their invitation and his support towards the fundraising function, also promising to support him in his political and development agenda.

He drummed support for President Yoweri Museveni and asked the Christians not to get tired while serving God.
