He supported the function with Ugx1M shillings cash.
The Kagadi District Resident District Commissioner Lillian Ruteraho challenged the parish chiefs to stop depending on government jobs but have side income projects to improve their welfare.
Lillian said many civil servants have remained poor simply because they rely only on salary which she said is not enough to meet all the basic necessities of life of human beings.
The Kagadi district chairman Yosia Ndibwami who was represented by his vice Vincent Ssemuga urged the chiefs to avoid taking part in partisan politics but concentrate on their duties.
