Local musicians in Kagadi district have been urged to create side income projects in order to improve their standards of living
The call was made on Thursday by the Member of Parliament Buyaga East constituency Eric Musana during the meeting with the leadership committee of Kagadi Artists Association at his office in Kagadi Town.
The legislator further asked all performing artists to foster developmental activities as this will help them get income to look after their families.
Musana further advised the musicians to focus on composing informative and inspirational songs to catch the audience, also advising them to maintain discipline and avoid engaging into politics.
Meanwhile, the President of Kagadi Artists Association David Ogang applauded Musana for supporting the youth mostly in Buyaga East constituency through organizing local music talent competition 3rd edition underscoring its purpose of helping them to earn a living.
David further rallied the interested musicians to hurry up and register for the competition whose deadline is 25th this month to prepare in time for the competitions which will happen at a date yet to be officially announced.
