Kagadi Police clash with RDC over controversial 6.8m exhibit for NRM Nomination Fee refund for contestants

Kagadi district NRM party Top Management in collaboration with office of the RDC has finally recovered the controversial 6,800,000=shillings that the NRM electoral commission officials had illegally charged from political aspirants inform of Nomination Fees.

The development has this evening been confirmed by both the Kagadi RDC Ms. Lillian Ruteraho and Omukwenda Ali Mulumba the district NRM chair person during an exclusive interview with the media shortly after refunding back the funds to the complainants in event held at the RDC’s office in Kagadi town council Kagadi district.

According to Ms. Ruteraho about 6,800,000 shillings was in the recent NRM party primaries illegally charged from the NRM contestants by NRM electoral commission officials led by Mr. Mikisa John Chrysostom Ssalongo together with the district Secretary Admin Mr. Obed Ambikize who were then arrested by police and forced to produce the money.

Thus Madam RDC confirmed that the dual brought back the money which was handed over to police as exhibit.

However police today struggled to hand in the exact money after some figures were missing but was tasked and later on the 6,800,000shillings was raised and was immediately refunded to the complainants.

Omukwenda Ali Mulumba the district NRM chair person apologized before the public asserting that the act was done by some of the indiscipline staff within their NRM party but promised the supporters that such elements will be eliminated out the mighty party thus asking them to maintain NRM support.

Meanwhile speaking to KBS radio, the complainants (NRM contestants) in recent party primaries) confirmed the receipt of their funds and thanked office of the RDC for the efforts invested to see that their money has been refund.
