The heavy morning down pour in Kagadi has interrupted the turn up of students and pupils for term one in primary and secondary schools.
According to Deputy Head teacher Kagadi SSS, Ziwa Jude, the Head teacher Agape learning center Andrew Kaija, Deputy Head teacher Bunyoro college SSS, Head teacher Kagadi Model PS, Trust way PS, Nyamiti Ps the morning rains interrupted class.
They further noted that the turn of students and pupils were moderate while teacher’s attendance was over 90%. They further expressed concern over lower prices of maize which they said has affected the early reporting of learners in schools.
They asked the government to provide enough equipment, staff and school structures in government aided primary and secondary schools which are affected.
Students especially in candidate classes who turned up on the first day of term one thanked teachers who turned up on the first day and expressed optimism that they will excel
