The former students of Paradigm Institute of Business and Media Studies have been urged to further their studies if they are to increase their chances of getting employment and compete favorably in the job market.
The call was made this afternoon by the Buyaga East Member of Parliament Eric Musana Acaali who is also the director Paradigm Institute during a reunion meeting with the old students held in the multi-complex building at the Institute premises in Kagadi Town council, Kagadi district.
Hon Musana said the Institute started humbly in 2011 operating in rental houses but has now developed into a big institution with its own premises and has produced a big number of graduates in different courses now working in both government and private institutions.
The Member of the Pan African Parliament offered a 25 percent bursary offer to the certificate holders who will upgrade for a diploma in the August 2023 intake.
Felex Freedom Twesigomwe, the Principal Paradigm Institute of business and media studies cautioned the former students holding certificates to put aside lame excuses and enroll for further studies.
He asked them to have a positive mindset on education if they are to succeed in life.
Meanwhile the old students lauded Hon Musana for the 25 percent bursary offer and said this has inspired them to pursue further studies.
