Departing Bushenyi district CAO Malik Mahabba hailed for ardent services

BUSHENYI
The Bushenyi district Chairperson Jaffari Bassajjabalaba has hailed the outgoing District CAO Malik Mahabba for his zealous effort exhibited in Bushenyi during his two years term of office as the district accounting officer.
Bassajjabalaba said this on Friday at a handover ceremony held at the district premises as Mahabba handed over office to the incoming Chief Willy Bataringaya who has been serving in the same capacity in Sembabule district as Mahabba goes the other way.
Mahabba thanked both the district political and technical staff for the years he has served in Bushenyi saying he leaves behind a legacy as the district has been one of the best in terms of financial accounts reports.
He however asked the incoming CAO to deal with the issue of Court cases the district is grappling with as they have about 22 cases that have taken alot of the district resources. More to that, the district has a debt of UGX 17M from Total Uganda.
Friday’s function also saw the district bidding farewell to the deputy CAO Hood Nsubuga who has been transferred to Ntoroko as a full CAO whereas Geoffrey Nkurunzinza replaces him in Bushenyi.
