KAGADI

As provided for under Article 90 of the Constitution of the Republic of Ugandathe Members of Parliament are mandated to carry out oversight of all the government programmes undertaken in their constituencies all over the country.

In fulfillment of this obligation, The Buyaga East MP Eric Musana spent the whole day monitoring the progress of the government projects under construction in the constituency.

He visited King Solomon Seed SS and Kenga Community Health Center all in Kagadi Sub-County and was impressed by the progress of the construction works at both sites.

The legislator asked communities surrounding the area to support and own the monitoring responsibility to ensure good quality and value for money.

MP Musana shared with Field manager at the site Charles Tenywa of BANA construction enterprises who explained that the construction works stands at above 85% ensuring completion within the remaining 8 months of the contract period.

Led by the LC3 chairman Matia Birungi and Kato Damyano, the residents are optimistic of the other opportunities that are expected in the area following the completion of the multibillion buildings both in education and businesses sectors.

Following up the Member of Parliament’s monitoring exercise, our reporter has reliably leant that the Community Health Center in Kenga Trading Center Kagadi Sub County has also reached the finishing stages with flooring and painting.
