Bishop Kirabo consecrates Multimillion Bwikara Catholic Parish Church house

KAGADI

The Bishop of Hoima Catholic Diocese Rt. Rev Vincent Kirabo on Monday consecrated St. Peter’s Bwikara Catholic Church, a newly constructed Church house that has cost Shs800 million.

The church construction works started in 2018 and on May 15th it was consecrated and blessed by the Lord Bishop.

Bishop Kirabo commended Christians for working jointly to construct the multimillion church house.

He asked parents to care for their children and render support to schools under the Catholic Church foundation.

Bishop Kirabo further urged Christians to strengthen their faith in Christ and exercise good acts to get blessings.

The Kagadi district Woman MP Janepher Kyomuhendo Mbabazi who was represented by the Kagadi district vice chairperson Women’s league Verose Wamala urged women to observe peace in their families and shun alcoholism and other domestic violence behaviors that have led to family breakages.

She urged the public to desist from acts of homosexuality and donated Ugx 500,000 towards buying the church seats.

The Parish Priest St. Peter’s Bwikara Catholic Parish Rev Fr. Jude Aheebwa Thaddeus applauded Bishop Vincent Kirabo for consecrating the new church house.

He urged Christians to allow Christ into their hearts if they are to get blessings in their work.
