Christians have been challenged to prepare for the coming of Christ through doing good deeds in order to have a good image before the creator.

The message was passed by the Bishop of Bunyoro Kitara diocese Rt. Rev. Samuel Kahuma while preaching the gospel at Kiduuma Church of Uganda in Kiryanga Sub County where he had paid a courtesy visit on Sunday.

He explained that people should execute good acts such as contributing towards the activities of the church and also recognize Jesus as their savior.

Bishop Kahuma has used the day to lay a foundation stone for Kiduuma church of Uganda as a sign to show that Christ is the one who selected that place for them.

The Buyaga East Member of Parliament and Pan African Member of Parliament Eric Musana who also attended the Service challenged Christians to set up legacies for remembering them.

He again challenged parents to raise their children well in order to be responsible citizens in future and asks them to keep children busy with work during this long vacation.

Musana has contributed UGX 1M cash towards the completion of the church floor.

Meanwhile, the Kagadi district Vice chairperson Eng. Peter Sebugwawo called on the general public to avoid lawlessness citing the issue where the assistant District health officer Environmental Health was murdered in cold blood in fort portal on Saturday.

He asked the people of Kiduuma to be patient of the poor conditions of the roads in the area saying they will be worked on since the Kiryanga Kiduma road is already the budget.
