45 year old Woman dies in bed in Kakumiro
KAKUMIRO
Residents of Kisiita Sub County in Kakumiro district have been overwhelmed by grief and fears following the death of a 45year old pregnant woman under strange circumstances.
The deceased has been identified as Medias Sanyu, a mother to three and resident of Busingye LCI in Nyamirama parish who was likely to give birth next month.
Speaking to our reporter, Jacinta Ndyamuhakyi the daughter to the deceased narrated that her mother was in good health by the time they went to sleep last night.
Jacinta adds that when it clocked around 04am she heard the mother yelling prompting her to run to the neighbors seeking for assistance but unfortunately they found when she had already passed away on their return.
In an interview with Nettl Media neighbors disclosed that the deceased has been battling with epilepsy which they suspect to have taken her life.
They have described the deceased Media as a cooperative, generous resident in the area.
Meanwhile, Nazaliyo Bagujji, the area Chairperson LCI has urged the general public to always visit health facilities as early as possible for assistance in case they get any health problem.
He further asks people to adhere to the Ministry of health Standard Operating Procedures set to curb the spread of Covid-19 pandemic.
