11 Graduate at Uganda’s Women’s University with degrees in Rural Development

KAGADI
11 Students have been awarded with honor’s degree in Rural Development at African Rural University-ARU, an all-women’s university.
The 8th Graduation Ceremony for African Rural University that attracted distinguished guests from various destinations was held on Friday at ARU Main campus in Kigagaizi Cell, Kagadi Town council Kagadi district.
Presiding over the Ceremony as the Chief guest Dr. Kabagambe Fred Kalisa, the chairperson Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom Royal Commission commended African Rural University for its holistic approach of Education towards learners asserting that it is unique since it produces job creators instead of job Seekers.

Dr. Kabagambe congratulated graduates upon the milestone achieved, advising them to exhibit high levels of integrity, discipline and hard work while in the field of work.
The Chancellor of African Rural University, retired Justice Ezekiel Muhanguzi warned graduates against exposing their lives to the deadly diseases HIV/AIDs if they are to enjoy much out of their Education Sweat.
He urged the graduates to turn the theory knowledge and skills attained from ARU into practical towards problem solving and rural transformation while in their respective communities of deployment.
Dr. Mwalimu Musheshe, the Vice Chancellor for African Rural University expressed a lot of optimism that their Graduates will execute excellent work in transforming communities into better places for everyone to thrive in.
He thanked the distinguished partners with whom they have been working together to Passover mentorship to learners.
Engulfed with joy, the Graduates revealed that they are proud of studying from African Rural University due to the practical approach of learning available to them.
They added that ARU is exceptional in the region and entire world since it automatically avails job opportunities to its graduates as Epicenter Managers.
The event was among other dignitaries graced by the University Council Chairperson, Deputy RDC for Kagadi district, LC5 chairperson, Civil Society Organization representatives, Educationists from other institutions, Religious Leaders, Media fraternity, African Rural University Students, Staff.

ARU is one and only University in Africa that chose to support Girl Child Education System by introducing them to different hands on skills that can benefit them and the Communities where they are working.
